When Phantom Films sought promotion for their movie "Bhavesh Joshi Superhero," the good guys at The City Story, came up with an ingenious idea: honoring everyday heroes. This led to the birth of two films titled 'Local Heroes'.

Anita Lobo

The first of our two films features Bandra’s very own vigilante Anita Lobo; a force of nature who single handedly orchestrates the relentless flow of traffic within the bustling lanes of this busy suburb.

Gulafsha Ansari

Our second film features a young powerhouse by the name of Gulafsha Ansari. In a world where football borders on religious devotion, this determined young athlete channels her talent to inspire and transform the lives of children in her community, one young girl at a time.
